General genetic counseling for genetic conditions other than cancer is provided through the Genetic Counseling Clinic. Indications for general genetic counseling include:

• Individuals with diagnosed genetic diseases who would like to learn more about their condition
• Individuals with a family history of  known genetic conditions
• Individuals who are concerned about their family history of specific conditions
• Individuals who have been recommended to receive a genetic test and would like to learn more
