Volunteer Opportunities

We have a wide range of volunteer positions in patient and non-patient service areas. Here are just a few volunteer opportunities...

Hospitality
Be a friend.  Volunteers are welcome visitors for patients in non-acute care units.  Whether reading aloud, playing cards, chatting, or providing support, visits from volunteers encourage healing and ease the patient's hospital stay.

Surgery Waiting
Volunteers provide much-appreciated support and assistance for a patient's family and friends.  Sometimes it's the little things that can ease the waiting time.

ER (Emergency Room)
On the go!  Our volunteers provide compassionate and timely support to help ease the stress of waiting.  Volunteers must have the ability to cope with a complex environment and unexpected needs.

Office Support
Volunteers provide office support such as typing, computer entry, collating and filing.  Their assistance makes an invaluable contribution to the hospital's day-to-day activities.

Gift Boutique
This uniquely different hospital gift boutique offers volunteers the opportunity to assist customers select that "heart felt" gift.  Proceeds from gift boutique sales fund numerous hospital programs.

Patient Services
Activity associated with patient contact!  You will be on the run delivering meal trays, running errands, putting away supplies,- an extra pair of hands for our staff.
