Voice Therapy

At the Parker Adventist Center for Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine, our certified speech-language pathologists are able to provide voice therapy for a variety of voice disorders and pathologies.

Our voice evaluation includes objective voice measurements and a perceptual assessment of vocal techniques and patterns that the patient uses for speech. Through the use of various Kay Elemetrics software, we are able to quantify the voice signal with respect to quality, pitch, loudness and variability. We tailor an individualized treatment plan for each patient. Voice therapy sessions are designed to improve vocal quality, efficiency, strength and function, while minimizing damage to the voice.

Conditions we treat include:

  • Hoarseness (dysphonia/aphonia)
