Our physicians have both the experience and expertise with the latest technology to perform a full range of routine to complex procedures.
Minimally Invasive Procedures
Minimally invasive surgery allows the surgeon to access damaged or diseased areas of the spine utilizing state-of-the-art equipment that allows for smaller incisions. The minimal access approach can offer decreased post-op pain, decreased muscle spasms, reduction of perioperative discomfort, speedier recovery and more cost-effective care. Some of the minmally invasive procedures include:
- Dynamic stabilization techniques
- Endoscopic microdiscectomy - a minimal incision technique using a small fiber-optic camera that allows the surgeon to visualize the affected disc
- X Stop TM - a recently approved implanted device designed to provide pain relief for spinal stenosis
Surgical Procedures
Not all conditions and disorders can be treated with minimally invasive procedures. Our surgeons are also experts in many advanced surgical procedures including:
- Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion
- Artificial disc replacement
- Bone grafts and synthetic bone grafts
- Cervical corpectomy
- Deformity correction
- Discectomies (with or without fusion)
- Lumbar spine facetectomy
- Lumbar spine foraminotomy
- Lumbar spine laminectomy
- Lumbar spine microdiscectomy
- Minimally invasive surgery
- Posterior cervical spine facetectomy
- Posterior cervical spine foraminotomy
- Posterior cervical spine laminectomy
- Posterior cervical laminoplasty
- Posterior cervical microdiscectomy
- Posterior laminotomy
- Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion
- Spinal fusions
- Spinal motion preservation
- Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion
