Guided by her own personal journey as an adoptive mom, Rebecca Vahle understands what couples are going through. Under her direction Family to Family has filled a need for classes dedicated solely to adoptive families and for a hospital setting where all families are embraced, biological and adoptive.
All of our staff at The BirthPlace at Parker Hospital are required to attend the “Serving the Unique Family Seminar”. This training empowers them to be up-to-date on the many facets of domestic infant adoption including open, semi-open and closed adoptions, options counseling and appropriate support for all parties involved in infant adoption. It also addresses the unique needs surrounding a surrogate placement.
