Our Staff

The Family to Family Adoption Support Program at Parker Adventist Hospital offers a specially trained, on-site adoption liaison and caring staff, who provide resources and extensive support to everyone involved in the adoption process.

Adoption Liaison

With years of experience as a birth parent counselor, Rebecca Vahle brings a passion for support, empowerment and education to the Family to Family program. Her goal is to not only support patients and families considering adoption, but also to encourage those that have already moved through the adoption process.

Adoption Program Coordinator

Guided by her own personal journey as an adoptive mom, Rebecca, understands what couples are going through. Under her direction Family to Family has filled a need for classes dedicated solely to adoptive families and for a hospital setting where all families are embraced, biological and adoptive.

BirthPlace Staff

All of our staff at The BirthPlace at Parker Hospital are required to attend the “Serving the Unique Family Seminar”. This training empowers them to be up-to-date on the many facets of domestic infant adoption including open, semi-open and closed adoptions, options counseling and appropriate support for all parties involved in infant adoption.  It also addresses the unique needs surrounding a surrogate placement.
