• Sleep Disorders Center

  • The quality of your sleep directly affects the quality of your life, and at the Sleep Disorders Center at Parker Adventist Hospital we can help. You could be among the 50 to 70 million Americans that the National Center on Sleep Disorders Research says is affected by sleep related problems. Disorders that disturb sleep can affect your personal safety, productivity, and ability to enjoy daily living. Fortunately, many sleep disorders are treatable, and at the Sleep Disorders Center we are confident we can help you get the sleep you need.

If you are experiencing the following sleep disorder symptoms: snoring, excessive daytime sleepiness, frequent waking during the night, and difficulty initiating or maintaining sleep; you may need a sleep study. Sleep problems often are interconnected with serious conditions, such as coronary heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, impotence, memory issues and mood changes. Fortunately, most sleep problems can be treated. An overnight sleep study, performed in one of our sleep centers, or under certain circumstances, in your own home, will give your doctor the information needed to treat you successfully.

The Sleep Disorder Centers provide sleep study services at 4 conveniently located facilities in the south Denver area:

    • Parker Adventist Hospital – 4 in-lab suites, Home Sleep Testing (HST). 9399 Crown Crest Blvd Ste 350, Parker, CO 80138

    • Porter Adventist Hospital – 3 in-lab suites, Home Sleep Testing (HST), in hospital facility. Accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

    • Castle Rock Adventist Hospital – 2 in-lab suites, Home Sleep Testing (HST), in hospital facility

Under the direction of Dr. Stephen Duntley, our 4 sleep centers are staffed by licensed, certified respiratory therapists as well as registered sleep technologists. Dr. Duntley is board certified in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Specialty Medicine, as well as the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Working together with your physician, our sleep specialists will determine the most appropriate sleep testing for you. We will contact your insurance to ensure proper authorizations are met; then contact you to schedule your appointment at one of your facilities most convenient to your location. After your sleep study, an interpretation with recommendations will be sent to your physician.

If you do not have a physician, contact us and we will help arrange an appointment with one of our board certified sleep specialists, who will meet with you and map out an individualized evaluation and treatment plan.
