As part of our multidisciplinary approach to cancer care, Parker Cancer Center offers Gynecologic Oncology, a highly specialized field that offers leading-edge treatment to women with cancer of the reproductive system including both internal and external anatomy. The care is provided by a physician specially trained in gynecological oncology.
To become a gynecologic oncologist, physicians are required to complete an approved four-year residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology plus an additional two- to four-year clinical fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. And unlike general oncologists, gynecological oncologists can perform surgery, administer chemotherapy and participate in radiation therapy.
Our Team: The following physicians are part of the Parker Cancer Center Physician Member program and practice in specialties involved with gynecologic cancer. This also includes our expert team of radiologists and pathologists.
